Walking tour Saigon continues to excite people because of the fun one’s get during the visit, one gets to learn a lot about the history of the city during the colonial era.
I booked 3 wonderful tours with 3 different people. Had a tour with Sue, Kathy and Thao over 3 different days and nights for a night tour, a day time city tour and a walking street food tour. Overall I had a wonderful experience with each guide. They were all very knowledgeable about the city and very friendly. They were prepared for the tour rain or shine. I was given a poncho to wear for brief periods of rain. I would definitely recommend them for a tour and would consider taking more tours next time I am back in Saigon. Each tour lasted about 4 hours.
Highlights of the tour would be seeing Saigon at night from a rooftop beer bar, seeing the post office and eating so much food wonderful and different foods.
Booked airport hotel transfer online. Due to unexpected political demonstration, all cars were blocked from entering the airport. Mr Lien from Saigon Adventures were in constant contact with me in trying to pick me up. Unfortunately, I got a private cab out to the hotel . Kathy was waiting for me with apologies and refund. I did not take the extra taxi fare that the company kindly offered.
I appreciate “Saigon Adventure” services and prompt action on this unfortunate incidence. Action speaks louder - you are good, reliable and responsible.
Thank you Lien @ Kathy
My boyfriend and I did the afternoon “Food and Sights” tour with Jennie and Cici. One of the best things we have done on our trip to Vietnam. The tour was very informative as well as great fun. Would really recommend this as a way to see HCMC. Felt very safe on the back of the moped too. Such great value for what you get - food, tickets all included in price. You won’t regret doing this tour!
I recently went on the Cu Chi Tunnels tour on scooter with Michael from Siagon Adventure.
Michael Greeted me at our hotel and after an introduction (his English was excellent) we got underway, he is an excellent rider and I felt 100% safe in the traffic. On the way we stopped at a local cafe for coffee which was great to get history of the country and then on the way to the tunnels.
The tour at the tunnels was great having a 1 to 1 guide gave you a really personal experience and the ability to skip around the big groups.
On the way back we stopped for a great a great lunch at a local restaurant before dropping me back at our hotel late in the afternoon.
Overall it was an excellent day and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
I booked my tour with Saigon Adventures through my hostel and couldn't be happier with the experience. My tour guide, Sunny, was an excellent and safe driver and she and her team (Sophie, Kathy, and Harley) took us all over the city and to many of the districts tourists never usually see. All of them had excellent English skills and we had great conversations at every stop.
The food was incredible and the tour guides made a point to explain every dish and ingredient. Make sure to try all the herbs too. That's half the fun of Vietnamese cuisine and there's a lot more to taste than just your basic basil and mint. After a tour like this you really feel like you understand Vietnamese food much better. Plus, beyond the food our guides even explained the history of many of the different districts we visited.
Overall this tour was the best value of any tour I've been on and it was by far the most incredible experience of my trip. In my opinion, Saigon Adventures is the perfect way to experience Saigon and a must-do for any trip here.

Thanks to Henry! You are more than just a tour guide !
You taught me a lot about Saigon and Ho Chi Minh, took me around with safe drive and told me how this company would like to be with passion.
Take care of yourself and do your best in the future.
And I would say that be careful not to eat too much
I was planning a 4-day trip to Ho Chi Minh and contacted several top-rated food/sights tour companies as listed on Trip Advisor. The one that was most accommodating and flexible was Saigon Adventure - they allowed me to drop/add certain sights and also local food that I wanted to try in the city. They were extremely helpful and provided me options right until the last night before I flew into the city.
Initially we just wanted to take one food tour with them, but in the end we took two tours: the Food and Sights Tour; and the Walking Street Food Tour. It was the BEST decision as we really had a perfect combination of both worlds - a chance to visit some of the city's famous landmarks and delve right into the meandering pathways and alleys to savour the best street food you can ever eat in Ho Chi Minh.
Hats off and heartfelt thanks to Henry and Jenny our warm, helpful and informative tour guides, we couldn't have asked for anyone else better. And a shout out to the photographer Peter for ensuring he gets all our good angles!
Going to Ho Chi Minh on your own is tricky if you don't speak Vietnamese. The signages are all in Viet and hardly anyone speaks English. Moreover the main mode of transport are motorcycles or busses. Traffic "flows" without traffic lights (a bit like Jakarta and Philippines) so its actually quite dangerous if you attempt to ride a bike on your own if you're not familiar with the roads.
I felt safe with Saigon Adventure, especially since they also provide passenger insurance (which was one of my criteria when filtering through the many tour operators).
We really enjoyed our food safari with Kathy on our first night in Saigon. this was a walking tour that took us through a number of different districts we were able to see how the locals live as well as try 20 different dishes throughout the course of the evening, most of which were new to us.......we were stuffed!! it was a great intro to the city learning how to navigate the streets and cross the roads confidently whilst being able to experience many sights, smells and tastes. I would highly reccomend this tour, it was very enjoyable and tasty.
Half day city tour booked by hotel reception. Guide arrived on time, explained itinerary, gave advice on being passenger on scooter and off we went. Despite heavy traffic John drove safely and demonstrated experience and confidence. Knowledgeable info provided but wasn't overkill. Itinerary was fulfilled, food was excellent (as it mostly is in Vietnam) and I'd recommend this tour. I also went with same company to Cu Chi. Again an excellent trip. As with everything in Vietnam, ensure you're booking with correct company and not one of the copycat outfits
Would recommend this trip to everyone - "Saigon Unseen" is an incredible opportunity to see the local areas of Ho Chi Minh and feel immersed in the city, from the hidden markets to the local food, coffee and temples - John and Bee made the whole day absolutely fantastic for us - it was like spending a day with friends rather than guides, and both were great drivers that we felt 100% safe riding with in a busy city. Price is good too - includes your meal and coffee shop trip. Thanks for an incredible time guys! Xx
